Coding Dojo Curricula: What Can You Study?

At Coding Dojo, you only have the option to study software development or data science.

These courses cover popular programming languages like Java, Python, and Ruby on Rails. Classes are interactive and collaboration between students is encouraged. Below, we’ll take a look at the courses that are offered.

Data Science

The Data Science program is only available online and part-time. The first part of the program starts with the fundamentals of Python and how to use it to manipulate data. The course then moves on to machine learning techniques like statistical inference, logistic regression, and decision trees.

At the end of the course, students will learn how to integrate the data science code SQL with Python, and will end the course by learning about deep learning. Throughout this course, students will learn how to use tools like Numpy, pandas, seaborn, and scikit-learn.

The course also includes a special data analysis and data visualization program. For this course, students should be prepared to dedicate 15 hours of study per week for 12 weeks.

Software Development

Coding Dojo’s Software Development programs can be taken in one of three forms, based on the student’s preference. You can choose to study full-time online, part-time online at an accelerated or flexible pace, or full-time onsite.

In all of these modalities, you will learn about coding from industry experts using modern curriculums. Topics covered include front end and backend technology, JavaScript, CSS, C#, SQL, Python, and much more.

Each week, you will create your own unique software projects. Throughout the course, your personal career adviser will help you compile these projects into a portfolio that you can show to potential employers. This adviser will continue to work with you until you have found a job.
