Nucamp offers three different programs catering to professionals of every level. Nucamp recommends following their coding trajectory starting with web development fundamentals before picking a specialization in front end or full stack web and mobile development.

Web Development Fundamentals

The school’s Web Development Fundamentals program is perfect for beginners. This four-week course will see students completing four different projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There are no prerequisites for this course.

Front End Web + Mobile Development

The Front End Web and Mobile Development program is 17 weeks long. It covers web development tools like Bootstrap, React, React Native, Visual Studio Code, Git, and Github, among others. By the end of the course, students can expect to complete 12 projects that demonstrate their newly-learned skills.

Full Stack Web + Mobile Development

Learn how to build apps from start to finish with the Full Stack Web and Mobile Development course. This is the most challenging program at Nucamp, which lasts for 22 weeks. Some of the technologies covered include MongoDB database, Node.js, Bootstrap, React, React Native, Visual Studio Code, Git, and Github, among others. A variety of payment plans are offered.

Nucamp Schedules: When Can You Study?

Full-Time

To ensure that tech aspirants from all backgrounds are able to enroll in its courses, all courses have flexible schedules. That means there is no full-time program currently offered at Nucamp.

Part-Time/Hybrid

Nucamp is at the forefront of education, offering a hybrid learning program that blends both online and in-person learning. You can expect to study online during the week on your schedule. Then on Saturdays, there will be an in-person or web-based video conference workshop.

Depending on the course, you can expect to spend between six to 14 hours studying with a four-hour commitment to self-learning every week. As such, you can easily allocate the time during the week to work around a full-time job.

Flex

At the moment, Nucamp does not offer a self-paced program for its courses.

Nucamp Tuition

Tuition at Nucamp is one of the most affordable on the bootcamp scene. Even with the low price point, Nucamp offers a variety of payment options.

Nucamp Financing and Payment Options

  • Fair Student Agreement. While most bootcamps offer an Income Sharing Agreement (ISA), Nucamp has its own Fair Student Agreement (FSA) which sees three options.Through Best Deal, students can make loans directly with the school at zero interest. The other two options—Faster Repayment and Most Flexible—are offered through Climb Credit. Agreement terms vary from 12 to 18 months, with payments from as low as $8 a month. Additionally, there is a 75 percent graduation rate, and if you don’t make it, Nucamp could potentially refund you according to your state laws.
  • Scholarships. There are five scholarships available; Nucamp Veterans and Active Duty Members Scholarship, ReSkill America Scholarship Fund, High School Graduates Scholarship, NuYou Scholarship, and Best Buy Bounce Back Scholarship. Learn more about the requirements on its official website.

Nucamp Admissions: How to Get In

Nucamp stands on the premise that everyone should be able to learn to code. Therefore, the admissions process is kept fairly simple.

Since there is no application process, the bootcamps are open to all. You will just need to fill out a registration form on the page of the course you’re interested in.

As mentioned, Nucamp does not have a specific interview process. All it takes is a simple registration which will then be evaluated by the admissions team.

Nucamp Admission Rate: What Are My Chances of Getting In?

Your chances of getting into Nucamp are very high as they are open to everyone. However, since there are only 12 spots open per cohort, it is advisable to sign up early to guarantee a seat. You can enroll in the bootcamp up until the day before the course is set to begin. There is also an Early Bird discount that is offered up to 14 days before the start date.

Nucamp Outcomes: Will I Find a Job?

Nucamp currently boasts an employment rate of 78 percent. If you fully commit to the bootcamp, then it is very likely that you will secure a job after graduation. The school offers Career Services to increase graduates’ chances of landing a job.

Job Placement Services at Nucamp

Nucamp provides a Career Coach after you graduate from the bootcamp. This Career Coach will guide you through the job search process and assist you along the way by looking at your resume and LinkedIn, preparing you for an interview, reviewing projects, and much more.

One month of premium LinkedIn and access to the LinkedIn alumni network are also extended to graduates. Another perk is that you will have lifelong access to the course content and also the community at no extra cost. Students and graduates also have access to an exclusive job board.

You can go on to become a junior front end developer, quality assurance and testing engineer, or full stack developer.
