The Data Science course only offers a part-time plan, meaning students will take the course over 24 weeks. Classes will meet three days a week, including on two weekdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
In the Georgia Tech Coding Boot Camp, students learn the coding languages and frameworks they need to become full stack developers. All the backbones of modern-day web development are covered, including JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, Git, and MongoDB.
You can become a full stack developer in either 12 weeks with a full-time schedule or in 24 weeks on a part-time lesson plan. The full-time option is unique to the coding program. All other GTPE bootcamps are part-time only. Although all sessions of the Coding Boot Camp are conducted online, students still team up with their peers for real-world projects.
The Georgia Tech Cyber and Network Security Boot Camp is perfect for IT professionals and managers, or anyone interested in learning the latest tools and technologies used for protecting vulnerable data. Offered in a 24-week, part-time format, the curriculum covers networking, ethical hacking, cyber security architecture and management, and analytics.
The rise of content management systems (CMS) has forever changed how we interact with computers. As a result, there is a growing demand for web developers who have user experience and user interface skills. GTPE’s 24-week UX/UI curriculum answers the call with lessons on responsive design, user-centric design, visual prototyping, and wireframing.
Throughout the course, students have access to tutoring and career services to help them land a better job or get a promotion. They graduate from the bootcamp with a complete professional portfolio built with the latest wireframing tools.
Any company that wishes to get big on the Internet must have a robust digital marketing outfit. Getting into most coding bootcamps is tough and Georgia Tech Boot Camps are no different. You can submit an application, however, as long as you are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or the GED equivalent.
The application process is simple. You declare your interest in the program, speak to an admissions representative, and go through an initial screening process. Those who seem like good candidates must then complete a rigorous technical interview.
If you are lucky enough to pass the initial screening, you’ll be asked a series of interview questions to assess your critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Other than raw talent, the main criteria on which you’ll be judged are your goals and your potential to excel in your chosen program.
GTPE has not published any official statistics on their bootcamp admission rates. Your chances of getting in depend on how well you articulate your intentions during the interview. This course allowed me to better understand the application used on a daily basis. I built a strong background learning how to install and configure computers and with this program I now understand how they all work. I was nervous at first, but the instructors were all great and I do not regret my decision. The Career advisors could do a little better with students and properly assiting them but again the program itself will alone help you. Building and creating are both ways to not only explore information but to instill real world applications that showcase and are used on a glabal scale, which is pretty amazing considering. Great overall experience.
